Ačkoliv je Česko v srdci kontinentu, naši potápěči patří ke světové špičce. Režisér Vlastimil Urban vyzpovídal tři z nich, od mladých dravých žraloků až po nestory tohoto sportu. Společně se ponořili do tajů tichého světa pod vodou s kamerou České televize. Se Stevem Lichtagem se točilo na Valkýře                     a ve vodách Orlické přehrady.

Minulou sobotu se Valkýra nechtěně zúčastnila regaty Yacht Klubu Radava. No nejrychlejší jsme nebyli, ale ostudu jsme si také neudělali. Vitr příliš nefoukal, přesto jsme z plachet pár uzlů vymáčkli. Voda má stále krásných 19°C a tak se dalo i koupat. Pro potápěče dobrá zpráva, voda je stále čistší a čistší. Odhaduji viditelnost na 3 metry.

Last weekend Valkyra accommodated its first crew. David and his friends boarded onto the boat and on Saturday morning headed towards the lake. They were lucky so the favourable tail-on wind helped to pass the distance in the good time and the crew had the chance to enjoy the sailing under the full sails. At the afternoon they did the dive on the site “Quarry – wreck of Olcit” with the visibility of 2 -3 m. After the dive they moored in the port Trhovky and the rest of the day they spent in the local pub "Las Vegas". On Sunday morning they were back in the diving mode on the site called "Hájenka" where they discovered all the attractions offered by the site under the supervision of David Vondrasek. On Sunday afternoon the crew sailed to the Orlik castle, where they anchored and went for the sight-seeing tour. At the end of the day the crew left the board in the marina Radava.

Dear friends. I’m not really sure, if the grounding, transportation, reassembling and re-floatation of the catamaran back on the water might be called “The event”. Nevertheless for all the people involved it had been the event with capital E. Only thanks to the loyal friends who devotedly offered their help, the unique and unrepeatable task which ended by re-launching of the catamaran Valkyra, has been successful. From the Italian port Chioggia, where Valkyra (formerly Sea Lion) ended its sea trip on the rock of wave breaker, through Lipno, where the hull had been repaired and re-sealed, the boat finally has arrived to Orlik lake.
